Estreou-se como atriz profissional em 1991 e tem desenvolvido um percurso diversificado em teatro ,cinema, televisão, dobragens e locuções. Destacando em teatro "Os Efeitos Dos Raios Gama Nas Margaridas do Campo" de Paul Zindel, na Companhia de Teatro Arte Livre, trabalhou ainda com Blanco Gil no Teatro Ibérico, Susana Arrais Ovo Teatro , Ditiambus, em cinema "Le Combat D'Amour En Songe" de Raoul Ruiz, "605 Forte" de João Mário Grilo, em televisão a série "Ballet Rose" com Leonel Vieira, "O Dia Do Régicidio" com Fernando Vendrell, e a série "Rua Sésamo" na a personagem Gata Tita.

Paula Pais made her debut as a professional actress in 1991, and has since taken a varied career path in theatre, cinema, television, dubbing and doing voice-overs. Notable amongst her performances are "The Effect of Gama Rays on Wild Daisies", play directed by Paul Zindel, "the film "Le Combat D'Amour En Songe", directed by Raoul Ruiz, the TV series "Ballet Rose, Forbidden Lives", directed by Leonel Vieira, and "Sesame Street", a RTP (Portuguese Broadcasting Company) and Children's Television Networks USA coproduction.
